 The Trade Permanent Secretary, Eng Abdulrazaq Ali has assured Kenya National Trading Corporation (KNTC) and all relevant stakeholders of his ministry’s full support to revitalize it with a view of turning it into a trading giant it was adding that the government recognizes the critical role the cooperation plays in stabilizing the wholesale and retail sector.  The P.S said that the introduction of contracting and Rapid Results Initiative( RRI ) program in the KNTC sector has given it a great opportunity to enhance their targets and fast truck its initiatives to building a better planned and visionary Kenya way beyond vision 2030.


He acknowledged that RRI program has significantly contributed towards growth and development of various public institutions by helping them achieve their core objectives.


In a speech read on his behalf by trade ministry’s director of Administration Ambassador Leonard Ngaithe during the third wave RRI launch, the PS said that KNTC is taking a big step towards making it a global front runner in the trading industry. The launch, which was held in a Nairobi hotel, was also attended by KNTC CEO, Gladys Maina.
