Manual applications will NOT be accepted.<\/li>\n<li>Please ensure you have read and understood the guidelines and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.go.ke\/application-requirements\/\">Requirements<\/a>&nbsp;before submitting your application.<\/li>\n<li>All applicants&nbsp;are&nbsp;advised to apply for a passport replacement at least six months before&nbsp;its&nbsp;expiry date.<\/li>\n<li>Dual Citizens are required to declare their other nationality prior to renewing Kenya passports. These include persons born before 27th August 1987 and for those who acquired other citizenship status before 27th August 2010 need to show proof of having regained Kenya citizenship.<\/li>\n<li>Those required to apply to regain Kenya citizenship are expected to await completion of the regaining process before they can apply for their e-passports.<\/li>\n<li>&nbsp;All e-citizen inquiries should be directed to e-citizen at email&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:support@ecitizen.go.ke\">support@ecitizen.go.ke<\/a> OR Tel. +254780806206<\/li>\n<li>Uploaded documents must be scanned in (.JPEG or .PNG) formats&nbsp;ONLY.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>NOTES FOR PHOTOGRAPHS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kindly ensure that photos attached on the application form&nbsp;meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa&nbsp;Be clear photos \u2013 they should not be blurred nor have a dark hue, all facial features should be clearly outlined<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa&nbsp;Have a full face and both ears&nbsp;visible<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa&nbsp;Be taken against a&nbsp;WHITE&nbsp;background<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa&nbsp;Be without shadows in the background<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa&nbsp;No smiling or laughing<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa&nbsp;Be taken without spectacles<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa&nbsp;Size of the&nbsp;photos&nbsp;should be 35 mm x 45 mm&nbsp;(3.5 cm x 4.5 cm)<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa&nbsp;Weaves and hair should not cover the forehead or the rest of the face<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa&nbsp;Decent photos \u2013 ladies should not be wearing strapless tops and earrings.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa&nbsp;Ensure the <strong>photos<\/strong> are printed on good quality paper in a studio. (photos from the Instant Photo machine will not be accepted)<\/p>\n<p><strong>TIME FRAME<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Once you submit your duly completed application to an Immigration Officer, the passport processing should take at least between&nbsp;4-6 weeks.
