Covid-19 TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

THIS NOTICE IS ISSUED WITH EFFECT FROM MONDAY 8TH MARCH 2021.

TRAVELLERS FROM THE FOLLOWING STATES AND TERRITORIES SHALL BE REQUIRED TO UNDERGO MANDATORY QUARANTINE UPON ARRIVAL INTO KENYA AT THEIR OWN COST:

  1. Brunei
  2. Czech Republic
  3. Kuwait
  4. Spain
  5. Switzerland
  6. Thailand

TRAVELLERS FROM APPROVED STATES TO BE EXEMPT FROM QUARANTINE – 08.03.21

NOTE: All travellers must have a negative PCR based COVID 19 certificate valid for 96 hours from the day of testing up to your arrival at any port of entry  into  Kenya. 

In addition , with effect from 11th January 2021, all travellers entering or exiting  Kenya must present a digitally verified negative covid-test certificate. All passengers must register on the Trusted Traveller (TT) website: https://trustedtravel.panabios.org

After registering:

  1. Select to Check in
  2. Select Departures and Destination Countries
  3. Upload your Lab Test Certificate
  4. provide travel details as required on the form and click on save to proceed
  5. A TT code is generated for you which you can download to present on travel when requested

Visa Notice

VISAS* 

The Embassy of Kenya-Rome wishes to inform that effective 1st January 2021, all categories of visas will be obtained online. Subsequently, all applications for Kenyan visas will be processed, paid and issued online. The e-visas can be obtained through *www.evisa.go.ke* portal. Please note that no visas will be issued at the Embassy or on arrival in Kenya.

NEW WORKING HOURS OF THE EMBASSY

In view of the new measures adopted by the Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers of 24th October, 2020, the Embassy wishes to inform that from 2nd November, 2020, the official working hours of the Embassy will be:
